Flowers that tell a story
Homegrown | Sustainable | Handpicked | Seasonal
Homegrown | Sustainable | Handpicked | Seasonal
Remember how flowers used to be? When sweet peas and roses filled the air with the scent of summer, and airy stems danced in the breeze? Inspired by nature and the seasons, I grow all my own artisan, wild and scented flowers from bulbs or seed on my plot in Tame Bridge, Stokesley, in the heart of North Yorkshire. Flowers how they used to be, flowers that tell a story.

I am committed to using sustainable practises in my growing, in an effort to protect nature and wildlife. I use the majority of flowers I have grown myself and will buy from other British growers if I can. Occasionally I will use imported flowers when British flowers are out of season but will always look first to suppliers using FairTrade farms.
I never use floral foam which is derived from plastic and wrap my flowers using only paper or other compostable materials.

About
The Cranford Flower Co has been my dream for as long as I can remember. For three decades I've worked as a Nurse for the NHS. Through the ups and downs of my career, I've always found solace and strength in my garden. Last year I trained with the prestigious Tallulah Rose Flower School and started a journey to a new career as a flower grower and florist. My approach is inspired by nature and the seasons, a wild, slower, considered floral style far removed from the fast paced throw away society.
